Gwin looked around nervously, her harlequin eyes darting around everywhere. Her parents told her she was going to be fine but her nerves just kept getting the best of her. She couldn't help but notice a boy her age with slicked back platinum blonde hair walking into the barrier with confidence and pride, his parents slowly following after him. "Lucky Bastard." Gwin muttered under her breath. Her hand started gripping her owls cage until her knuckles turned white. This was Gwin's first year at Hogwarts, and she wanted to make a good first impression. Gwin never knew her real parents, she didn't know what to think if they found out that she was going to Hogwarts, she didn't even know to think them alive. Gwin was found on the doorstep of a little green cottage, she was just a baby, when her adopted parents found her. Ironically it turned out her adopted parents were Wizards that lived in the muggle world. Gwin flinched when she suddenly felt the warm touch of her mothers soft hands. "Gwin, please have a good year, and make sure we got a lot of O.W.L's back to us. And don't make any trouble!" Gwin's mother stated while giving her a strong hug. Gwin's mother may seem calm and fine on the outside but on the inside she's battling with herself not to seize Gwin and drag her back to the car and home. Gwin's dad was just as bad, but forcing back tears. Dad was a bit of a more softie than mother. "Bye mum, dad! I'll send you an owl when I get there to tell you what house I will be in." Gwin started walking towards the barrier. Gwin was getting more and more anxious the closer she got, It's like the closer she got the faster the pace. Gwin thought the barrier would reject her. She closed her eyes and braced for the impact that never came. When she opened her eyes she saw the Hogwarts Express and all the other witches and wizards. "I did it! Just to prove how amazing I am." Gwin said in an inaudible whisper full of excitement, with the biggest smile on her face.

Aisis was shaking with fear and nerve; her teeth were clamped, and her heart felt like it was throwing itself against her rib cage, trying to break it as a punishment for bewilderment. She had never gone to a wizard school before and had no idea how they worked. Perhaps you'd have a curse set on you if you did something wrong? That just made Aisis let out a small scream. "Ergh... what what that scream for!?" she spat to herself under her breath, "Unnecessary!" Aisis was a half-blood, and her muggle mother was the nosiest creature ever, so her wizard father had never explained anything about wizard schools. Thankfully, though, her father was leading her to a train station and explaining everything, which Aisis tried to pay attention to, but it was hard for her. After a while she forgot her dad was there. She saw someone point to a wall with a sign near it, reading "platform 9 and three quarters". That word annoyed the freak out of Aisis. Seriously? 9 and three quarters? Why not just 9? You know what, I'm just going to look away!
Aisis jumped when her father suddenly started speaking about it, not acknowledging his presence. "HOW DID YOU GET HERE!?" Aisis wanted to squeal, but her father was explaining to her about the platform. He informed Aisis on how she had to walk through it, and how to make it look natural so the muggles wouldn't notice anything different. Aisis was chewing her nails to the nubs during his speech, and couldn't concentrate at all although she tried. All she heard was "through it....platform 9 9/4....so muggles wouldnt see....", too nervous to pay attention. Her mind was filled with the bad things that she expected to happen, and thoughts of her being drowned in a cauldron and potions dissolving tables were swimming through her mind. She didn't know exactly how to get passed the barrier, so she rammed into it, as if falling, then laughing nervously. The wall felt like very hard water, and she fell out through the opposite side like how a magnetic throws other magnets away when they repel each other. She had no injuries, thankfully. "Please don't be mad, da.....", she whimpered.
There were tons of other kids there, of all ages, some even looked like adults. Aisis looked around; she saw kids jumping into carts of the train. She turned around, expecting to see her father, and expecting some help, but he wasn't there. Aisis groaned and threw her hand onto her face. "Yea, thanks for abandoning me," she said under her breath and felt a pang of hatred for her father. Why hasn't he explained everything before, when her mother wasn't in the house? Frustration was now turning her face red. She wished someone would walk up to the train with her and explain everything, but nobody did. Fine, I'll guess, she thought finally. She ran up to the train and jumped into the train after watching many other kids do so.

Gwin walked into the closest compartment she could find, she didn't want to wander down a corridor all alone, she'd much rather be in the closest one. And to her luck, it was a roomy little thing and had only 2 girls in there, she sat next to girl with honey-colored hair and across with the girl with curls, they were both her age, but the girl with curls looked like she was about to explode with excitement, so she'd rather choose the seat with the calm and sophisticated girl. They both were very pretty. "Hi, er... I'm Gwin..." she said shyly. 'I think I'll like these girls.' Gwin thought to herself when a small smile appeared on her face.

Aisis stared down the other girl, somewhat thankful for her presence but still mad at her dad, and as the girl spoke, it added to her anger. "Psh, forgot your name for a second, didn't you?" Aisis said, "Er" being her least favorite word. She sighed before speaking again, to clear her mind of stress, and decided to try and be friendly. Maybe the other girl could take her mind off her dad. "I'm Aisis. How are you liking King's Cross? I think it's stupid. Seriously, platform 9 and THREE QUARTERS?." Aisis let out a fake laugh, still focused on seeming friendly and attempting to bottle her emotions. She looked around inside of the train. Outside of the windows, it was clear the train was not moving and she could people were getting on. Aisis couldn't wait for the train to finally move, and she couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts. Hopefully it was organized, or else she would freak out. Aisis wondered who the person next to them was, but since she wasn't talking to her, Aisis decided not to bring her into the conversation.

"Hi~ Uh, how are you?" Gwin gained an anime sweat drop and a nervous grin as she stared at the hyper active girl. 'this girl scares me...' Gwin looked around, her eyes slowly landed on the window, and it seemed to be more interesting than the awkward aura coming from Aisis, and the Hyper blasts coming from Gabby. The 2 things didn't mingle well with Gwin. Gwin heard heard the loud obnoxious sound of a whistle. It made Gwin jump a few centimeters out of her seat. Gwin did not cope well with sudden outbursts. The only reason Gwin didn't jump out of her seat when Gabby exploded was because Gwin saw it coming. But Gwin quickly regained her composure and masked her shock with a stoic face expression. And ponder on her thoughts. Her adopted mother was sorted into a Ravenclaw, and her dad was a Hufflepuff... Gwin pondered on her thoughts for a seconds. Then asked "So... what houses do you think you'll get sorted into?" Gwin asked wanting to start some type of conversation.

Aisis jumped in her seat as Gabby suddenly yelled. "Whoa, calm down!", she said, "We're just people!" Afterwards, unfortunetly, there was the sound of a bell, adding to the noise, but Aisis's ears had already adjusted to it. She felt the train jerk, then the veiw outside of them began to move. Aisis was wishing it hadn't move yet, because the sound of the train wheels were distracting her from looking through her trunk to see if she had everything she needed. Gwin had asked a question, but Aisis wasn't paying attention. "Something," she responded, which was her response for pretty much every question she didn't care about.
((hehe, anime sweatdrop.))

Gwin still pondered on her own question. "I don't know what I'll be put in. But I'm going to be 100% supportive with the sorting hat. I've heard it puts your wishes into consideration..." Gwin ended the sentence with a sigh as she leaned her head against the red leather seat that currently cushioned her weight. It was then she had to jerk her neck back up when the compartment door suddenly slid open to reveal the same boy she saw from earlier, his hair was still slicked back. He had a look of anxiousness and delight, not to mention 2 boys behind him with dumbfounded expressions. "have any of you come across Harry Potter?" His voice was on the verge of exploding-like Gabby-but so would mine. "HARRY POTTER!?" She literally jumped out of my seat (which scared the daylights out of Aisis once more) and followed quickly behind of the 2 idiots following him. 'must be his groupies' Gwin thought to herself, as the boy slid the compartment door that was next to theirs, only to reveal I redheaded boy with freckles and a long nose. The other jerked his head towards the now open door, he had Black shaggy hair and glasses. Not to mention when he swung his hair, it revealed the mark of the curse. His scar. 'This truly is the best day ever!' Gwin thought excitedly.

Aisis did have everything she needed. "Sorting hat?" she asked, confused. It sounded familiar..... She strained herself to remember what it was. There were voices of his dad, telling him about this odd hat, but the sounds around her prevented her from being able to hear. Aisis jammed her fingers in her ears, looking somewhat retarded. But then she heard a scream; "harry potter!", which threw her off her thinking track. She stuck her head out of the compartment she was in and around and saw Gwin and a pale guy with a pointed face and platinum blonde hair in a nearby, other compartment. "WHAT'S SO FREAKING GOOD ABOUT HARRY POTTER!" Aisis shouted. ((Don't you think it's retarded how most Ravenclaws aren't naturally smart (like me *eyelash flutter*), they are just patient with their homework and they study allot? GAAYYY I SAY))

((Harry Potter didn't come to the compartment! Malfoy did! Malfoy wen't to get Harry Potter! Like in the book! I just simply followed! (not like a creeper or anything) GOSH! I <3 u! )) As soon as Gwin sighted Harry Potter, she didn't want to be there a minute longer. She noticed his discomfort and Gwin quickly made her way back to the compartment that held Gabby and Aisis. "Thanks for making me forget what the Sorting Hat was! And anyway, what's so good about him anyway?" Aisis spat to Gwin. Gwin's whole face contorted of shock. "How do you NOT know about Harry Potter?! He saved the wizarding world when he was just a baby!" Gwin shot her eyes towards Gabby who was humming a muggle song. And whispered soft and slowly. "When Harry Potter was just a baby..." Gwin trailed off, not sure if she should use Voldemort's name or not. 'screw it I'll just use it.' She slowly continued. "An evil wizard named Voldemort killed Harry's parents, and if Voldemort has his mind set on killing someone he WIll kill them. Anyway When Voldemort tried to kill Harry. Fortunately Voldemort failed and left Harry parentless with a lightening bolt shaped scar on his forehead. The only thing that saved Harry is the fact that his mother sacrificed herself. Love is what bound them together, and let baby Harry to survive. Sacrificing yourself is one of the oldest curses in magic. Well more a blessing not a curse. Love can protect you from all kinds of things, the fact that Lily Potter gave her life for that of her only son's, shielded him from Voldemort as Lily's blood runs in Harry's veins." Gwin said matter-of-factly. Gwin had a kind of 'obsession' towards Harry's life story. But she would NEVER admit that to ANYONE. Gwin quickly noticed the change of scenery outside and decided it was time to change into my robes.

((Um.... I was tired and you know about my blonde moments I have when I don't take my vitamins...))
At Gwin's speech, Aisis heard discussions of disgust and people scowling, "You mean He-who-must-not-be-named" and such.
"Well," Aisis sighed, "My freaking IDIOT DAD would never tell me about him! He didn't tell me ANY wizard things until now, but it's too late and all I know about is platform 9 and three quarters, which isn't even important!" As she said this, anger boiled up inside of her and was visible on her face. "And who is this Voldemort you speak of? He seems like he would be very powerful, otherwise so-called Harry Potter wouldn't of gotten famous surviving him." Aisis could hear a murmer of dissapointment. A wizard walked up to her, spitting, "Who dare you say his name!" "And why would you care!?" Aisis said, giving a death glare to the person, "Just leave me alone, okay? It's not my fault I'm so freaking uneducated about these things!" She groaned a sound of self-hatred.

Gwin quickly shoved the person out of the compartment before Aisis drowns in her own self-hatred and ends up cutting herself. Gwin slammed the comaprtment door shut before anyone else comes in there all offended.
"Aisis... It's your dads fault not yours." Gwin quicklky tried to cheer up the groaning girl. Gwin sat down and leaned her head back against the seat.
"Aisis, You should but your robes on."

"Uhh.. okay," Aisis responding, cursing her dad under her breath once more. Aisis turned towards her trunk, opened it and burrowed through her other things; cauldrons, books, quills, ink and more. Her robes were at the bottom as a cushion for everything else. She yanked them out so fast, nothing on top of them had time to tumble over in different directions. She threw them on, noticing how silky they were, and buttoned them. She closed her trunk afterwards. I feel like a wizard, hehe... she thought pathetically, glad nobody around her could read minds.
Aisis returned to gazing out the window. After what seemed like an hour (which it probably wasn't) she could see a massive, beautiful castle. It had large turrets and some looked about 6 stories tall. It seemed as if someone had planted things around the castle, and they ended up being large stone walls instead of plants. Aisis was almost stunned in amazement. She stared until the sound of some sort of bell hit her ears. "We get out now?" Aisis whispered anxiously, glancing back at Gwin. She hoped it was a yes; Words could not explain how thrilled she was. She wished she could go through time to explore the castle.

"Yeah. I think so." Gwin got up only to trip over her robes. "Ow." Gwin cursed at her mother for giving her hand-me-downs from he older brother. SHe quickly got up and gave Aisis and sheepish smile. "Shall we go then?" Gwin asked rubbing the back of her Chestnut-haired head while a dark blush splattered her fair skin.

"Yes," Aisis said. Before she got up, she spent one or two seconds savoring the feeling of the soft, pillowy cushions of the compartment seats and the feel of the cold, moist window against her hand. She finally got up and slided open the compartment door. Other young wizards and witches were walking towards the front of the train, so Aisis followed them, hoping Gwin was following her. Aisis could spot the platinum blonde hair that belonged to Draco Malfoy, the boy who Gwin was talking to and Aisis was yelling at later.

Gwin quickly grabbed Aisis's arm careful not to lose her in the see of children ((woah pedophile much XD)) Ass they were walking Gwin noticed Aisis staring at the back of platnium's head. ((Hah hah nicknames...))
Gwin picked up the pace and found Aisis and her exiting the 1900's steam train. "all righ' all yeh firs' years c'mon now." Gwin heard the booming voice of a man who's height should be illiegal. I mean this guy was like 9'ft 100! Gwin tried hard not to stare and was doing a good job but noticed she was channeling all her energy and into grasping the crap out of Aisis's arm. "Sorry!" Gwin muttered quickly and loosened her grip on her new friend.
